What is the Endless Beauty Collective?

Imagine a world where the beauty industry isn’t telling us our problem is that we’re aging. A world where the industry sees its role as helping women in midlife and beyond maximize and showcase our natural and endless beauty. They see themselves developing and offering us products and advice that help us stay healthy and look and feel as beautiful as we are at every single age throughout our entire lives.

And we, in turn, see the beauty industry as such a powerful and inspirational resource – an ally even – that truly respects women for aging and is constantly coming up with better and better ways to support us. (And, in turn, not only wins our respect but the cash in our wallets.)

In this ideal scenario, the beauty industry – and society overall – embraces the truth: a woman’s beauty is endless. It’s not reserved for the young as we’ve all been led to believe.

Thankfully, there are already brands that feel exactly this way and share our mission to get ageism out of the industry. But, there is also still a long way to go.

That’s why the Endless Beauty Collective was born.

Our mission is 4-Fold:

Unify

Come together as a unified force to be reckoned with.

Use our voices, strength in numbers, and purchasing power to show ageist brands that we are not a group to ignore.

Shift

Put a stop to fear mongering as a marketing tool.

Eradicate the belief that has run the beauty industry for decades: that a woman’s beauty declines with age (and our worth along with it).

Recognize

Celebrate & draw attention to pro-age beauty brands

These brands have said no to ageism & differentiated themselves in a crowded market. These trail blazers deserve recognition and increased sales for their efforts.

Expand

Increase the number of pro-age brands.

Key to getting to a tipping point in our efforts to take ageism out of the industry is increasing the number of brands that recognize both the social and economic benefits of adopting a pro-age model. The EBC’s consulting arm is actively seeking out and working with brands to guide them in making this shift.

Wrinkles, sun spots, and looser skin simply tell us that our skin isn’t the same as it was when we were twenty. It doesn’t mean we’re not as beautiful.

Our true goal here is to remain healthy and maximize and showcase our beauty for our entire lives.

Our community is made up of women who have had enough of the anti-aging and youth-obsessed messaging that dominates the beauty industry.

Because a world where we DO have the power to demand change isn’t fiction…
